What is FeedFresh?

FeedFresh is a modern, multi-platform RSS feed reader that provides a fresh perspective on global news. It allows you to subscribe to your favorite news sources, browse curated content, and customize your reading experience.

How do I start using FeedFresh?

Launch the app - you'll see a splash screen while the app initializes
The app will automatically load with curated news sources
Navigate between different screens using the bottom navigation (mobile) or side rail (tablet/desktop)
Start exploring news in the "For You" section or browse curated sources in "News Stand"

📡 RSS Feed Management

How do I add a custom RSS feed?

Go to Settings → Add RSS Feed
Enter the RSS feed URL (e.g., https://example.com/rss.xml)
The app will validate and add the feed to your library
New articles will appear in your "For You" section

What RSS formats are supported?

FeedFresh supports:

RSS 2.0
RSS 1.0 (RDF)
Atom feeds
Most standard RSS variants

How do I import/export RSS feeds?

Import Feeds

1. Go to Settings → Import RSS
2. Select your OPML/JSON file
3. All compatible feeds are added

Export Feeds

1. Go to Settings → Export RSS
2. Choose export location
3. JSON file created with all subscriptions

📰 News Sources & Categories

What are curated news sources?

Curated sources are pre-selected, high-quality news outlets organized by:

How do I select curated news categories?

Go to Settings → Select News Sources
Browse available categories with descriptions
Select categories that interest you
Tap Update Sources to apply changes
New sources will appear in your News Stand

Theme Settings

Change between light and dark modes:

1. Go to Settings → Theme
2. Toggle between Light and Dark modes
3. Changes apply immediately

Font Customization

Extensive font options available:

Note: Data is currently stored locally on each device. Use export/import features to transfer subscriptions between devices.

🔧 Troubleshooting

No Internet Connection

• Check device internet connection
• App auto-reconnects when available
• Cached content remains accessible
• Pull down to refresh when connected

RSS Feeds Won't Load

• Verify RSS feed URL is correct
• Check if source website is accessible
• Some feeds may be temporarily unavailable
• Try again later (rate limits may apply)

App Performance Issues

• Check internet connection speed
• Restart the app
• Ensure you have the latest version
• Pull down to refresh content

Images Not Loading

• Check internet connection
• Some sources may have image issues
• Images are cached for offline viewing
• Try refreshing the article
